He's the captain of the Besaid Village Blitzball team, the besaid Aurochs, as well as the outspoken member of the group.  Wakka's heart is in the right place, but he can be stubborn, to the detriment of the party.  One of Yuna's handful if guardians, Wakka also befriends Tidus in a "Big brother" kind of way.
